The"Beaver Moon" is the last full moon in Autumn. In 2026, it is also a super moon, which means it will be larger and brighter than most months.

Leave your house (or wherever you happen to be) at 7pm on the 24th to take a leisurely walk or bike ride anywhere in Melrose Place you desire. Scooters, skates, golf carts, and other fun ways to get around are also welcomed. Neighborhood visitors are welcomed. Go with others or go solo. Go around the block or around the neighborhood - just go! The more the merrier.

For added safety, wear bright or reflective clothing or carry a flashlight. Bike lights can be provided:

Help bring in this next chapter of growth at our beloved neighborhood park – the Triangle. This year, the Melrose Civic Association has been collaborating with BREC to bring in sixteen new trees(!) that will be lining the perimeter of the park.

All ages are invited for some fun outdoor time with neighbors.
